Shred old documents at SCA

By Staff | Jun 15, 2012

The Sanibel Community Association (SCA) is hosting a drive to shred unneeded documents and papers on Saturday, July 21, from 9 a.m. to noon at The Community House on Periwinkle Way.

Summer is the perfect time to organize your home and office and destroy the sensitive documents no longer needed. The thought of tediously hand feeding piles of personal papers into the shredder at home makes it tough to get motivated, but the perfect solution is to let someone else shred it for you safely and quickly.

Bring documents such as bank statements, credit card receipts, old checks, income tax returns or anything that contains personal information and watch the professionals at Secure Shredding, Inc. pulverize the papers into bits in mere minutes.

The event is open to the public. There’s a small fee of $5 for one box per car. If you have more boxes, an additional donation is requested. All proceeds go to the Community House operating fund so additional donations are always encouraged.
