Cape police seeking Walgreens robber

PHOTO SPECIAL TO THE BREEZE Cape Coral police are searching for the pictured man in connection to a robbery at the Walgreens, at 1534 Cape Coral Parkway W., this morning.

At about 5:30 a.m. today, a man approached the front counter of the Walgreens, at 1534 Cape Coral Parkway W., feigning to make a purchase. As the cashier began to ring up the purchase, the man drew a handgun and demanded money from the cashier, according to officials.

The cashier complied and the man fled the store in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man’s image was captured on in-store video, officials reported. He is described as about 6 feet 1 inch tall with dark brown, wavy hair.
