Sun Splash to reopen March 3
Sun Splash Family Waterpark in Cape Coral will open for the 2012 season the weekend of March 3-4. The park will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Closed Monday through Thursday, March 5-8, the park will be open again Friday, March, 9, through Sunday, March 18, during spring break for Lee County schools. Hours of operation during spring break at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., daily.
The 14-acre park offers breathtaking water slides – X-Celerator, Terror Tube and Thunder Bump – and flumes, a pool, the “lazy river” and fun for smaller swimmers, including child-sized slides, a tot spot and a rain tree. Guests can also play volleyball, enjoy an ice cream cone or a bite to eat at the Calypso Cafe or pick up a Cape souvenir at the Sun Trader Gift Shop.
General admission rates are, Cape residents – $14.95 for adults and $12.95 for children 2-12 and seniors (60+), and non-residents, $17.95 for adults and $15.95 for children and seniors.
Season passes and other specialty rates (After 2 p.m., Friday Aqua Theatre Nights and Saturday Family Fun Nights) are also available. An Early Bird Special is also available, a savings of $20 off per season pass before April 8.
