Report: Thousands of dollars in jewelry stolen

A woman reported more than $35,000 in jewelry stolen Wednesday.

Cape Coral police responded to a report of a theft in the 1700 block of Southeast 20th Lane. According to a report, a woman told officers that she is in the process of moving and discovered some of her jewelry missing.

The last time she saw the pieces was approximately one month ago.

The missing items are an 18-karat ladies diamond bracelet, a yellow gold ladies diamond wedding band, a 10-karat yellow gold diamond bracelet, a 14-karat wedding band set and a 10-karat white gold ring with colored stones.

Also reported stolen were two 14-karate white gold diamond rings, one with emeralds and the other amolites; three 14-karat yellow gold diamond rings, one with sapphires, one with red sapphires and one with tanzanites; 14-karat ring with burmese rubies; and a 14-karat yellow gold Michael Anthony watch.

The pieces are valued at about $35,280 in total, according to the report.
