According to an arrest report, at about 2:15 a.m. Cape police responded to an indecent exposure compliant. The caller reported that a car was parked at Skyline and Veterans, and the people inside of it appeared to be having sex.
Officers arrived to find a Mustang stopped in the middle lane of Skyline, just south of Veterans, facing northbound. The light was green but the vehicle did not move. Police approached the car and located Cannon and Rosati inside it.
According to the report, the two were engaged in a sexual activity.
The officer asked the two to step out of the vehicle, and Rosati allegedly stated that he got caught up in the moment and did not think their actions were going to take so long.
Cannon reportedly became belligerent with officers, stating that she did not do anything wrong and that they were “pigs” with “nothing better to do.”
Officers made contact with the person who had called police. She reported that she was driving northbound on Skyline when she passed by the Mustang. She thought someone was injured, but was not sure, so she made a U-turn.
When she passed by the second time, the vehicle’s windows were down, and she reportedly saw two people having an encounter of a sexual nature inside the vehicle.
Cannon and Rosati were taken into custody.
Cannon has a court appearance scheduled Feb. 14.
Rosati is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 13.
