More than 4,000 people are expected to show up today to the 21st annual AAC Edison Region Car Show to be held at Jaycee Park in Cape Coral. It’s at the end of Beach Parkway at 4125 SE 20th Place in Cape Coral.

It doesn’t cost anything to get in but a donation of $5 is asked for each car.

More than 175 classics, antiques, street rods, and racecars will be on hand along with music from the 50s and 60s, provided by a local deejay. There also will be lots of food and there will plenty of vendors on site.

All vehicles are eligible for trophies.

Dash plaques will be given to the first 200 cars entered.

The event is one of the more popular happenings in Cape Coral and grows each year.
