Sanibel Rec Center offers tour of the globe in children’s holiday camp

The Sanibel Recreation Center invites school-aged children the chance to learn about nations around the globe during holiday camp. This themed-tour includes various crafts, games and diverse snacks from different countries. The holiday camp will be held Dec. 22 through Jan. 4 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day.

Enrollment is available for children in kindergarten through eighth grade and don’t forget to bring a swimsuit and towel. Each child will also need to bring their own lunch for the day. Register Dec. 14 to receive “early bird rates.” For more information, contact the recreation department at 472-0345.

The Sanibel Recreation Center is located at 3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road. Daily, weekly, semi-annual and annual memberships are available.
