La Venezia Ballroom is hosting a free Halloween party and fall festival for children 12 and younger today with activities and goodies to enjoy. The event will run from 5-9:30 p.m.

Owner Elizabeth Torres said this is the first year the ballroom will be holding the festival for the children because she wanted to do something for the little ones. She said she already holds a teen night for local kids when they are not in school, so they can have a good time.

The big attraction of the night will be the decorated Halloween stage for pictures. Torres said capecoral.com will be taking free pictures for the parents to download off their computer at home.

She said she will also decorate the stage for Christmas and Easter to provide parents with the opportunity to have pictures taken.

Goodie bags, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy, activities at different stations and bounce houses will grace La Venezia tonight for the kids to enjoy.
