A blue Ford Explorer was reported missing Tuesday in Cape Coral.

At 2:32 p.m., police responded to a stolen vehicle in the 1000 block of Southeast 24th Avenue. A woman stated that she went to take out her recycling bin and noticed that the SUV was not parked in the driveway.

She had last seen it at about 11 p.m. Monday, according to a report.

The SUV is a 2002 and bears the Florida license plate CAR0N3.

The report states that the vehicle is valued at approximately $6,000.

The woman reportedly told police that she did not call them earlier that morning because she was waiting to see if the vehicle would show up.
