Wines In The Wild theme is ‘Take Flight!’

By Staff | Sep 23, 2011

Tom and Linda Uhler are again coordinating Wines in the Wild for SCCF. Tom, left, is pictured giving some pointers to George and Patti Sousa.

Mark your calendars for Wines In The Wild, a wine-tasting celebrating our good nature and benefit fundraiser for the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation. The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12 and the cost is $75 per person.

The evening of food and wine tasting will be held at the SCCF Nature Center, located at 3333 Sanibel-Captiva Road, from 6 to 8 p.m. This year’s theme is “Take Flight!” celebrating the return to the local roost of our favorite bird, the snowbird.

Reservations are available by calling SCCF at 472-2329. The cost is $75 per person.

The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of natural resources and wildlife habitat on and around Sanibel and Captiva through environmental education, land acquisition, landscaping for wildlife, marine research, natural resource policy, sea turtle conservation and wildlife habitat management. Community support through membership dues and tax-deductible contributions makes this work possible.
