Two vehicles reported stolen
A red Saturn was reported stolen Thursday from a Cape Coral home.
At about 6:15 a.m., Cape police responded to an automobile theft report in the 1000 block of Southeast Fourth Terrace. A woman told police that she woke up to find that the vehicle was missing from the driveway.
The 2006 Saturn is valued at about $20,000, according to a report.
The vehicle bears the Florida tag 995XZW.
The Saturn has On-Star technology, and the company was contacted.
In another automobile theft reported Thursday, a woman told officers that she allowed a family friend to borrow her vehicle early that morning to obtain cigarettes. The man, however, never returned the vehicle, the report states.
She tried to call the man on his cell phone at least 30 times with no success.
The vehicle is described as a blue, 2006 soft-top Jeep Wrangler Sport.
It bears the Florida tag T281FM.
According to the report, the Jeep is valued at about $17,000.
