By Staff | Sep 16, 2011

A 1978 Harley Davidson frame was reported stolen Wednesday.

Cape Coral police responded to a report of a theft in the 4900 block of Victoria Drive. A man had reported that his red, Harley Davidson motorcycle rolling frame was no longer parked in back of the pool, near the bushes.

The frame is a Harley Davidson Sportster with a New York tag.

The loss is estimated at approximately $5,000, according to a report.

The man told police that he thought maybe a neighbor or the landscaping company might have taken the motorcycle frame. A neighbor told officers that he saw the motorcycle frame out by the garbage Monday morning.
