Southbound Interstate 75 in Lee County is closed at Palm Beach Boulevard due to a traffic fatality at the Tice Street overpass (near 140 mile marker).

A tractor-trailer traveled into the median, striking the support columns for the Tice Street overpass. There was no structural damage done to the columns or overpass from this crash.

This was a single vehicle fatality.

Motorists should avoid the area if at all possible.
