The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum and Traders Restaurant will sponsor a “Celebrity Island Dinner” on Monday, Oct. 3 at Traders, located at 1551 Periwinkle Way on Sanibel. Seating will be offered from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person, and all proceeds will benefit The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum.

This annual event guarantees to put the “fun” into fundraiser!

The impressive list of celebrity servers includes Craig Albert, Ric Base, Karen Bell, Mark Blust, Terry Igo, Friedrich Jaeger, Anne Joffe, Richard Johnson, Leoma Lovegrove, Tim Murty, Sandra Stilwell, Mike Valiquette and Bob Walsh. What some people will do to ensure a good tip is nothing short of amazing!

A dazzling piece of jewelry donated by Lily & Co. will be raffled off, and a sensational selection of Chinese auction items will be available for bidding.

Joe Archambault has designed a delicious menu including a choice of a specially selected soup or salad, one of four entrees and dessert. Bruce Akioka is providing tropical entertainment for the event.

Reservations are required for “Celebrity Island Dinner.” Please e-mail Amanda Stirn at astirn@shellmuseum.org or call her at 395-2233 to place your reservation.
