The closure of the westbound lanes of the Cape Coral bridge has been rescheduled. Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 30, through Wednesday, Aug. 31, during the nighttime/overnight hours of 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., the westbound lanes of the Cape Coral bridge will be closed to traffic.

Crews will be setting up barrier walls for a new traffic pattern at the Cape Coral Toll Plaza.

At 6 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 24, motorists can expect the four westbound lanes to be shifted to the south (lanes 1 through 4 will be shifted to lanes 5 through 8).
