Actor Bill Cobbs visits Captiva with Arts For ACT group
Legendary film and television actor Bill Cobbs, pictured in the top image standing in the center, with some of the more than 80 participants in a recent Harley Run on Captiva to support the Abuse Counseling Treatment Center. Several Arts For ACT leaders and sponsors attended the event.
“More than $150,000 was raised,” said chairperson Sandy Stilwell, who is pictured third from right of Cobbs.
The actor, best known for his work in the movies “Night at the Museum,” “Ghosts of Mississippi,” “The Color of Money” and “The Bodyguard,” is pictured in the second image with local resident Chuck Smith.
