Sanctuary Tennis Professional awarded Pro of the Year

The United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), Florida Divisionheld their annual convention last month in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Club Med at Sandpiper Bay hosted the convention, where Christie Bradley was awarded 2010-11 District Pro of the Year, Florida Division of USPTA.

Bradley has served as the Director of Tennis & Fitness at The Sanctuary Golf Club for the past 17 years.

“It is great to be recognized by the Florida Division of the USPTA for doing a job that I love,” said Bradley.

Jeff Cohen, President of the USPTA Florida Division, agreed.

“It shows in her work how much she loves the game of tennis. Not only was she nominated and chosen for her teaching abilities, continuing education, and professionalism, but the work she does in the Sanibel community,” added Cohen. “Christie is part of the city’s Parks & Recreation Committee and she coaches tennis and volley ball at the Sanibel School. Her charity is Hope Hospice and each year she raises money with a tennis challenge. We are all very proud of her.”
