Temple Beth Shalom will host its second dance this weekend, featuring rock and roll music from the ’50s and ’60s.

Nancy Swanson, publicity chair for Temple Beth Shalom, said the last dance the temple held was a sock hop, which was sold out.

DJ Star Splash will provide the entertainment for the night.

Saturday’s dance, which is open to the public, will include line dancing at 7 p.m. and the actual dance at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12.50.

Swanson said there will be lots of contests, along with sing-alongs and line dancing.
