Vehicle, property reported stolen from Cape Coral residence

A vehicle and more than $13,000 in items were stolen from a home.
Cape Coral police responded Tuesday to a report of a burglary in the 1700 block of Southwest 52nd Terrace. According to a report, a couple arrived home to find that their garage door was open and the home was ransacked.
A silver 2002 Toyota Solara convertible was missing from the garage.
The vehicle, valued at $10,000, bears the Florida tag C410DS.
Other items reported stolen from the home include a camera, camcorder, 32-inch flat screen television, various purses, wallets and handbags, a Nintendo Wii console, a generator and various precious jewelry and metals.
The total loss is estimated at $23,100, according to the report.
