Registration for the 2011-12 Sanibel Recreation Center After School Program is currently open. Register online at www.mysanibel.com or at the Sanibel Recreation Center, located at 3880 Sanibel Captiva Road.

The After School program runs Monday through Friday from 2:15 to 5 p.m. throughout the school year. It is available for children ages kindergarten through sixth grade. Every child registered in the After School Program will receive a one year complimentary membership to the Rec Center. This membership can be upgraded to a family membership for an additional $50.

The After School registration fee is only $530 per child for members and $633 per child for non-members.

Individual session purchases will also be available as a new payment option for After School families. Session fees will be $176 per child per member and $211 per child per non-member. Sessions will require re-enrollment during each designated trimester and must be pre-purchased prior to the start of each session.

Sessions will be available for fall, winter or spring as follows:

• Fall Session — Aug. 8 to Nov. 4

• Winter Session — Nov. 7 to Feb. 17

• Spring Session — Feb. 20 to May 24

A supervised seventh and eighth grade program is also available Monday through Friday from 2:15 to 5 p.m. throughout the school year with the purchase of a Rec Center membership.
