Two boats were reported stolen Tuesday in two separate incidents.
At about 9:30 a.m., a man reported that his pontoon boat was missing from the freshwater dock located behind his home, in the 2000 block of Northeast 27th Terrace. The man said he last saw the boat tied to his dock on Monday.
Later that day, officers responded to a report of a theft in the 3300 block of Northwest Fourth Terrace. Upon arrival, a man told police that his 20-foot boat, which was on a boat trailer with no tag, was missing from his backyard.
The pontoon is a 2006 Tracker Marine Sun Tracker 24 with silver and green trim. The boat is valued at an estimated $16,000, according to a report.
The other is a 1984 White Falcon side-console boat with a 200 hp outboard Johnson motor. With the trailer, the total loss to the owner is about $4,500.
Also reported stolen with the Falcon was a CD player, amp, speakers, batteries, a 10-foot cast net and miscellaneous tools, the report states.
