Lifestyle Consultant Annie Kisskeys stands behind the counter at the Kay Casperson Lifestyle Boutique, recently added at the Sundial Beach & Golf Resort on Sanibel.

With the help of a splashy new look, beauty expert Kay Casperson has transformed the Sundial Beach & Golf Resort’s former gift and clothing shop, Bandannas, into her newest location, the Kay Casperson Lifestyle Boutique.

“The Sundial location is just a smaller, boutique version of our Lifestyle Spa on Captiva,” said Casperson. “We’ll be offering unique beauty experiences, such as skincare and cosmetics consultations and product demonstrations, but we also have lots of new apparel and accessories, like our inspirational t-shirts, wrap bracelets and our brand new collection of Signature bags. They’re all fabulous.”

Originally from Minnesota, Casperson, began her career as a make-up artist and image consultant. After exploring various aspects of the beauty world – and becoming frustrated with the industry’s obsession with external perfection – Casperson introduced Beauty Inside Out, a comprehensive lifestyle philosophy that incorporates positive guidance and affirmations into a daily skincare routine specially formulated by Casperson to heal problem skin and keep healthy skin beautiful.

And to complement – not combat – the benefits of BIO Essentials, Casperson created Inside I’m Gorgeous cosmetics, a line of chemical-free, mineral-based make-up designed to enhance and highlight facial features while smoothing and nourishing the skin. All Kay Casperson Lifestyle Boutique consultations incorporate BIO Essentials skincare and Inside I’m Gorgeous cosmetics.

“We’re so happy to have a home at Sundial, and we’re really hoping to bring new energy into the resort. Because of our great partnership with Sundial’s sister property, South Seas Island Resort, we already know this is going to be a great fit – especially because we’re doing so many weddings now,” Casperson said, noting that since the opening of her location in South Seas’ Chadwick’s Square in December 2009, the spa has styled hundreds of bridal parties – with even more booked well into next year.

And because in 2010, Sundial was chosen – by satisfied brides on TheKnot.com – as one of Southwest Florida’s best wedding locations, Casperson’s new boutique is sure to attract a lot of attention.

But it’s not just for brides.

“We love weddings and helping brides plan their special day, but the boutique is also great for anyone who wants to experiment with a new look – and we’re the only skincare and cosmetics boutique on Sanibel. I think we’re going to have a lot of fun doing make-overs here,” Casperson added.

In addition to all the amenities of the Lifestyle Boutique, Sundial guests can experience relaxing, in-room massages and private yoga and Zumba sessions.
