Open house planned to address Viscaya/Country Club improvements

By Staff | Jun 27, 2011

The Cape Coral Transportation Department will be hosting an open house that will feature information about the construction of the proposed roadway improvements of Viscaya Parkway / Country Club Boulevard, from Del Prado Boulevard to Nicholas Parkway. The open house will be held Wednesday, June 29, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Cape Coral City Hall lobby, located at 1015 Cultural Park Boulevard.
The proposed improvements consist of median access management (new left turn lanes and curbing), removing asphalt (milling) and resurfacing Viscaya Parkway / Country Club Boulevard west of Del Prado Boulevard to Nicholas Parkway.
In addition, the city of Cape Coral is pursuing private property owner’s interest in contributing to the cost associated with landscaping the medians on this construction project. City staff members will be available to answer questions and discuss the proposed project.
This open house will be informational with no formal presentation. The public will have an opportunity to review the plans, ask questions and provide comments at the open house. Any comments made will be included in the public record for this project. The public’s attendance is encouraged.
Any persons requiring special accommodations under the American with Disabilities Act of 1990, or have any questions about the open house, contact the Public Information Specialist Maricelle Venegas at info@capecoraltransportation.com or phone (239) 707-9050.
