A woman told police that she opened an envelope Saturday that contained a check for $42 for a Lennox Fruit of Life cornucopia. She immediately realized that the piece of Lennox was hers and had been sold without her permission.
The woman further discovered other items were missing from her home, located in the 400 block of Southeast Ninth Avenue. She reported that the stolen items included jewelry, Lennox pieces, sports collectibles and coins.
According to the report, the woman’s daughter had some of her jewelry stolen also. She stated that she did not given anyone permission to take it.
Police discovered that items had been sold to several shops and dealers.
