Air conditioner, pool heater stolen

An air conditioner and a pool heater were reported stolen Wednesday from outside of a home in northeast Cape Coral.
A man told police that a Rheem air-conditioning unit and a pool heater were missing from a home in the 1800 block of Northeast 11th Lane. According to a report, the copper pipe, or condensate line, to the air conditioner was cut.
The items are valued at about $8,900. The damage is estimated at $300.
The man reported that when he drove up to the home, there was an old blue pickup truck driving slowly through the neighborhood. It was being followed by a white pickup truck, he added.
