See the future of cars at SARR meeting
Believe it or not, the latest Tesla electric sports car can reach 60 mph in 3.9 seconds, run for 250 miles on a single charge and has a battery guarantee of seven years.
But how is it done? This subject and many others that interest potential buyers of electric cars will be tackled at the next meeting of the Sanibel Alliance for Renewable Resources (SARR) on Thursday, May 5 starting at 5.30 p.m. at the Sanibel Community House, at 2173 Periwinkle Way.
The subject will be “Electric Cars – See The Future Today” and SARR will have on display both the latest Tesla (pictured) and a Chrysler-built Gem car, an increasingly frequent sight on our island today.
Membership of SARR is free and the meeting is open to all.
