‘Inspiration 2011’ Friday and Saturday

By Staff | Feb 21, 2011

The Center for Spiritual Living Cape Coral will present “Inspiration 2011: Celebrate Your Emergence” this Friday and Saturday at the Fort Myers First Baptist Church.
Emile Gauvreau said the idea for the Inspiration 2011 came from a discussion he was having with others at the Center of Spiritual Living Cape Coral about bringing a change to Southwest Florida due to the current economic trials and tribulations the community is facing. He expressed that their thoughts behind the event were to bring inspirational speakers to the area to show what possibilities individuals can do to improve their lives.
The theme of the program, Gauvreau said is “emergent,” which is the “idea that something is seeking to express itself.”
The event will feature Michael Bernard Beckwith with special guest Rickie Byars Beckwith. Gauvreau said they decided to build the conference around Michael because he has a “very powerful message.”
Michael is the author of “Spiritual Liberation” and is featured in the best-selling film and book “The Secret.” He has also appeared on the Oprah Show and Larry King Live.
He said he knows of many people’s lives who have changed after listening to his presentation.
“He is making a difference in people’s lives,” Gauvreau said. “I know my life has been transformed from listening to him.”
He encourages everyone to attend the event because it has been two years since Michael has been in the area and he is not sure when they can bring him back again.
The other internationally acclaimed inspirational leaders who will speak this weekend are August Gold, Aman Motwane, Shela McKeithen and Gauvreau.
Gauvreau will be facilitating the conversation between the speakers and the audience this weekend. He said he will address the topic “The things we have to let go of, so we can move forward.”
There are lots of things that individuals carry around as baggage, which are a part of the past, Gauvreau said, which “prevents us from making new and better decisions.”
The weekend will finish with a positive music concert Saturday at 7 p.m.
The hope of Inspiration 2011 is to transform people from wherever they are in their life, so they can be more successful in every walk of their life.
He said it is all about a “whole new attitude for living successfully.”
In 2009, the Center of Spiritual Living Cape Coral held the event at the Harborside Event Center in Fort Myers, which attracted close to 600 people to listen to Michael Bernard Beckwith.
