Wii Sports program for adults at the library
The library usually doesn’t allow people to bowl or play golf inside the library, but we are going to make an important exception in the month of February.
Please join us at the Sanibel Public Library, located at 770 Dunlop Road, starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 22 for “Wii Sports for Adults.”
For those of you who might not know what a Wii is, a Wii (pronounced like the pronoun “We”) is a home video game console released by Nintendo in 2006. The distinguishing feature of the console is its wireless controller, the Wii Remote, which can be used as a handheld pointing device and detects movement in three dimensions. It short, it is a video game that is completely interactive and the sports game allows you exercise by playing golf, basketball, bowling or tennis.
Even if you have never used a Wii, come to the library and discover it for yourself. You’ll be surprised how much fun you can have bowling indoors.
