Last week, the Condominium Associations of Sanibel, Inc. (CASI) introduced Carmine Rendide as its newest board member during the Jan. 21 breakfast meeting at The Sanctuary Golf Club.

Rendide is a full time Sanibel resident and an owner at Sundial East Condominium Association.

CASI was formed more than 30 years ago and today consists of 93 Sanibel associations. These associations represent nearly 3300 Sanibel property owners. CASI’s mission is to provide a network of information and service to multi-family properties and to provide a platform for action when issues of common interest arise.

Last Friday’s breakfast featured City Manager Judie Zimomra and her executive staff. Future CASI events include a Feb. 16 workshop on Association Finances for Board Members, to be presented by Stroemer & Company from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Sanibel Public Library.

On Feb. 25, CASI will host a breakfast meeting at The Sanctuary to explore the dynamics of “Healthy Beaches and Healing Waters” with Rae Ann Wessel, SCCF Natural Resource Policy Director, and Dr. Bruce Neill, Executive Director of the Sanibel Sea School.

In March, CASI will feature a newly required course for new Board Members, to be conducted by Becker & Poliakoff.
