Update: The missing child has been found, officials announced shortly before 5 p.m.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 5-year-old.
Rebecca Jasinto was last seen getting off her school bus at Billy’s Creek Drive and Ortiz Avenue, Fort Myers, around 12:30 P.M. Rebecca normally walks home right after getting off the bus, but wasn’t at home today when her mother returned home from an appointment.
Rebecca is described as 3-feet tall, thin build, dark brown, shoulder length hair, worn in two pigtails. She is of Hispanic heritage and has dark brown eyes and a mole or birthmark on the right side of her face, just above her lip. Rebecca also has light colored freckles on her face and is bilingual.
She was last seen wearing blue, white and gray tennis shoes with designs that light up when she takes steps. She was also wearing a red shirt with khaki pants that had little bears on them.
Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Lee County Sheriff’s Office at (239) 477-1000.
