SBRN invites local business owners to ‘The Best in Blogging’

The Southwest Florida Small Business Resource Network (SBRN) hosts the first venue for the SBRN “The Best” series on Thursday, Jan. 20 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the New Holiday Inn – Fort Myers Airport near Gulf Coast Town Center, 9931 Interstate Commerce Drive in Fort Myers, sponsored by Florida Gulf Coast University’s Small Business Development Center.

Attendees will learn tips and tools for blogging and the benefits of blogging as part of their social media marketing campaigns.

The SBRN guest speaker for the evening is Birgit Pauli-Haack of Pauli Systems. Birgit is an expert in the field of web strategy, web development and web 2.0 integration. The topic of the evening, “The Best in Blogging,” is part of the SBRN 2011 “The Best” series. Birgit will demystify the topics of blogging, including blogging within social media venues such as LinkedIn’, Facebook’, and other social media venues for business owners.

Following the presentation is the Resource Network’s monthly “Network After Five” social event where members network among themselves and exchange ideas for growing their businesses.

SBRN members’ cost for the event is $15 per person, which includes hors d’oeuvres. Guests and unaffiliated small business owners pay $20 per person.
