A national memory fitness program has come to Sanibel. Keeping mentally sharp and improving memory are the goals of Super Noggin, developed by a non-profit organization dedicated to intellectual wellness. Through a series of classes, participants learn the latest scientific findings on brain health and enjoy fun activities designed to stimulate the mind.

The $10 cost includes the Super Noggin Notebook which contains a year’s worth of suggested activities designed to keep the mind fit.

Classes are held at the Sanibel Congregational Church, located at 2050 Periwinkle Way, and are open to the general public. Please arrive at 1 p.m. as class begins promptly at 1:15 p.m.

Upcoming classes are as follows:

• Jan. 13 — “Stress Reduction”

• Jan. 20 — “Laughter and the Mind-Body Connection”

• Jan. 27 — “Mindfulness and Memory”
