Cape Coral resident and Weavers of CHAR-LEE member Rose Young threads yard from a warping board through a reed which she will then use on the loom behind her. The Weavers of CHAR-LEE’s annual Roc Day celebration at the Cape Coral Public Library, today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Roc Day is a worldwide celebration for weavers and spinners in honor of St. Distaff Day. The weavers provide hands-on weaving and spinning demonstrations during Roc Day. The Cape Coral Public Library is at 921 S.W. 39th Terrace, off Mohawk Parkway.
