More than $9,000 worth of items were reported stolen from a home Monday in Cape Coral.
The victims told police that they left for work in the morning and the residence, located in the 1600 block of Southwest 18th Lane, was secure. When they returned home that evening, one victim noticed the television in the living room was pulled away from the wall, according to a report.
The victim searched the home and discovered that the master bedroom and game room had been entered. Several items were reported missing, including video game systems, video games, televisions, computer equipment and a laptop, a jewelry box and several pieces of jewelry.
The total value of the stolen goods is estimated at $9,610.
