Coffee Bar @ Bailey’s celebrates first anniversary
The Coffee Bar @ Bailey’s recently celebrated its one year anniversary of business operating inside Bailey’s General Store, with free lattes and pieces of cake given out to those in attendance.
Opening during a lull in the economy, the Coffee Bar @ Bailey’s had a successful first year, and proves that good work ethic and a quality product will still stand up in tough economic times.
“It’s been a great year,” said Renee Cutaia, Coffee Bar Manager, who helped launch the business at the end of 2009. “We’ve been very lucky and had a lot of fun thus far, and we’re looking forward to what’s in store for us in 2011.”
The Coffee Bar @ Bailey’s has become a staple in the Sanibel community, and has been involved with numerous on-island organizations and causes such as F.I.S.H., the American Heart Association, MDA and the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce.
The Coffee Bar has become renowned for its friendly staff and tasty drinks. Quality control and excellent rapport with customers is the number one focus, and that will not change.
“We have all of our regulars and returning seasonal guests to thank for such a wonderful year. We look forward to serving you throughout the years to come,” said owner Blanaid Colley.
Coffee Bar @ Bailey’s also appointed Quinton Foshee as the new Overall Shift Manager.
A member of the Coffee Bar @ Bailey’s team since March 2009, Foshee will manage the day-to-day operations, customer service and human resources. He has previous management experience with Coldstone Creamery in Fort Myers and Cornerstone Kitchens. Quinton is a graduate of Evangelical Christian School, and is currently a student in the Physical Training program at Edison State College.
“Quinton is great with our guests and regulars, he also sets a great leadership example for the rest of the Coffee Bar team,” Cutaia added. “We’re thrilled to have him as the Overall Shift Manager.”
In other news, Coffee Bar @ Bailey’s will provide gourmet coffee and tea as a sponsor for the Second Annual New Year’s Eve celebration at the Sanibel Recreation Center. The event raises funds for scholarships for families of students who quality financially for After School and Summer Camp programs at the Rec Center.
The Coffee Bar is proud to again sponsor this event. Last year, more than 400 people were served at the family-friendly event.
The New Year’s Eve Party, sponsored by the City of Sanibel Recreation Center and the Sanibel-Captiva Kiwanis Foundation, begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31 and ends at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 1.
