Sanibel Captiva Trust Company named grand sponsor for FGCU President’s Celebration
Florida Gulf Coast University announced The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company and The Naples Trust Company have donated $50,000 to the annual President’s Celebration, to be held on Jan. 15, 2011 at The Ritz-Carlton in Naples, making the company the fundraising event’s Egregia Cum Laude, its highest sponsor.
“The Sanibel Captiva and Naples Trust Company are pleased to sponsor this year’s FGCU President’s Celebration,” said CEO and Co-Chairman Al Hanser. “We strongly support FGCU’s fine educational curriculum and scholarship program. Additionally, we are proud to support FGCU’s Foundation Chair, Chip Lesch, who is also Co-Chairman of The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company.”
The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company is a state-chartered independent trust company regulated by the Florida Office of Financial Institutions. The company provides wealth management services including investment management, trust administration, and financial counseling to individuals, families, businesses, non-profit organizations and endowment funds.
The President’s Celebration is the signature event of the University. It offers an evening of fine dining, entertainment, and an opportunity to transform dreams by providing scholarships for deserving students.
This year’s theme, “Transforming Dreams,” will help to ensure that students from all walks of life can benefit from a university education and fulfill their potential as engaged members and leaders of this community.
The event’s Egregia Cum Laude grand sponsor receives a table at the gala with preferred seating with FGCU President Wilson G. Bradshaw, and event recognition among other benefits.
Four other levels of giving, each with its own set of benefits, include the Cum Laude beginning at $5,000 up to the Summa Cum Laude at $25,000. Individual tickets are $750.
Traditionally, the gala attracts hundreds of FGCU supporters and well-wishers from the University’s five-county service area and beyond, including CEOs and executives of major corporations and businesses, philanthropists and engaged citizens.
The gala is presented by The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company and The Naples Trust Company. The University’s signature event is hosted by the Florida Gulf Coast University Foundation.
