Ballpark Festival of Beers marks return to Hammond Stadium

By Staff | Nov 19, 2010

Pouring more than 60 beers from around the world, the Ballpark Festival of Beers is the quintessential celebration of beer in Southwest Florida.

Tickets are on sale now for the Seventh Annual Ballpark Festival of Beers, brought to you by Miracle Professional Baseball, at Hammond Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011 from 6 to 9 p.m.

“There is no better place to sip suds with friends and we are excited to bring the event back inside the stadium. We knew there are plenty of beer connoisseurs in the area, so it’s the perfect event.” said Miracle General Manager Steve Gliner.

Admission is just $20 in advance, $25 day of event, and includes the opportunity to sample all of the available beers. You must be 21 or older to attend. Children, strollers and anyone under the age of 21 will not be allowed into the event.

Patrons will receive a commemorative sampling glass and food will be available for purchase. If your palate doesn’t go for beer, wine sampling is also available.

Hammond Stadium, located at 14400 Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers, will be rocking with live entertainment from local bands.

So come hoist a glass, enjoy great music, find a new favorite beer, spend time with friends and family and most importantly have fun. Cheers!
