American Legion offers ‘Mexican Fiesta’ this Sunday
This Friday, Nov. 19, American Legion Post 123 will close at 5:30 p.m. for the “Friend Celebration of Wellness Benefit” for Captiva resident Joey Burnsed at ‘Tween Waters Inn. Hours of operation will resume as normal on Saturday.
On Sunday, Nov. 21, come to Post 123 for a “Mexican Fiesta,” with food served from 1 to 8 p.m. and live music by Robby Hutto in the evening.
Now through the holidays, the Ladies Auxiliary will be collecting food donations for F.I.S.H. of Sanibel — please drop off your non-perishable items any time at Post 123. They are also taking orders for homemade pumpkin pies; call for more details.
Thanksgiving dinner “with all the fixin’s” will be served on Thursday, Nov. 25 from 1 to 8 p.m. Cost is $10 or donate two canned items for F.I.S.H. of Sanibel and a Christmas ornament for our holiday tree and get dinner for only $8.
Join us for our weekly 8-Ball Pool Tournaments on Monday nights starting at 6 p.m. Thursday nights is Texas Hold’Em Poker beginning at 7 p.m. Players are welcome and needed.
Every Friday, stop in for a 6 oz. ribeye sandwich with French fries. Check out our
daily specials and the entire menu. We serve food all day, every day. As always, the public is welcome.
