Public forum: Renter’s Rights & Fair Housing

By Staff | Oct 19, 2010

A public forum: Renter’s Rights & Fair Housing, will be held Oct. 20 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Cape Coral Association of Realtors building in Cape Coral.
Finding a great place to live for you and your family has never been more challenging than in today’s economic times. The more you know about renter’s rights and fair housing, the easier it will be to find that “right” place, organizers said.
Information and a chance to ask questions of Lee County Equal Opportunity analyst, Mary Ellen Harrigan and property manager, Thomas J. Lee, II, will be featured. Learn how you are protected as a tenant or property owner. How should you handle the “personal interview?” Find out about children, occupancy limits and harassment. Discover how the Citizen’s Dispute Settlement Agency can help you resolve issues.
The Cape Coral Association of Realtors building is at 918 SE 46th Lane with free parking in Club Square. Call 239-542-6209 or email to info@CapeRealtors.com for additional information.
