North Fort Myers man dies in single-car crash
A North Fort Myers man died Tuesday after the vehicle he was driving on Palm Beach Boulevard jumped a curb and struck a palm tree.
Patrick Crow, 73, was transported to the hospital where he later died.
The accident happened at approximately 1:30 p.m. Crow’s 2009 Pontiac had been traveling westbound approaching Prospect Avenue in Fort Myers when it jumped the curb and hit the tree, officials said.
Due to the nature of the incident, traffic homicide investigators responded to conduct an investigation. Preliminary findings indicate the driver possibly suffered a medical incident which may have caused him to crash.
