Aqua Beachwear outlets undergoing makeovers, reopening during October

By Staff | Oct 6, 2010

Earlier this week, Aqua Beachwear announced the makeover of their stores in Sanibel and Estero. The two locations have been closed temporarily while undergoing renovations, and are scheduled to reopen in October for business.

The two locations will don the new Aqua Beachwear name, have more fitting rooms and square footage, aqua flooring, and improved lighting. The stores will be stocked with the newest, just released swimsuit fashions of the season designed by top manufacturers such as Gottex, Juicy Couture, DKNY, Ralph Lauren, Betsey Johnson, Miraclesuit and more.

“We are anxious to unveil our fresh new brand and image when we reopen our Sanibel Island and Estero stores next month,” said Don and Mary Bauer, owners of Aqua Beachwear.

Aqua Beachwear, formerly The Beach House Swimwear, opened their doors on Sanibel in 1974. The company is well known throughout the swimsuit industry for their winning combination of extraordinary customer care, swimsuit expertise and vast selection of top name brand and designer swimwear that provide a custom fit and style for their clientele.

Aqua Beachwear opened a new store location in Siesta Key, Fla. earlier this year, and plans to continue their expansion to other vacation beach destinations. Aqua Beachwear currently has 13 store locations in Florida, Arizona and the Virgin Islands.

The Sanibel Island store is located in Periwinkle Place at 2075 Periwinkle Way, #12, and the Estero Outlet store is located in Miromar Outlets at 10801 Corkscrew Road, #125. For more information, visit www.aquabeachwear.com or call 472-2676 on Sanibel or 239-948-2330 in Estero.
