Lee Memorial Health System, Miami Dolphins team up for ‘Evening with the Stars’
Lee Memorial Health System announced last week that its fifth annual “Evening with the Stars and Pairing Party” event will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6 at Heritage Palms Country Club in Fort Myers.
New to this year’s affair is the “Teeing off with Miami Dolphins Alumni & Other NFL Greats” the following day, Thursday, Oct. 7, also at Heritage Palms in Fort Myers.
The Miami Dolphins Community Relations staff are making the events part of a major initiative to spread the Dolphins’ charitable relations to Southwest Florida.
The pairing party offers guests the opportunity to share a cocktail and NFL stories with Miami Dolphins and other NFL Alumni while enjoying dinner, desserts and a silent auction.
Scheduled to appear at the golf outing are Nat Moore, Jim “Crash” Jensen, Bob Kuechenberg, Bill Riehl, Don Silverstri, Tom Sorenson, the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, Dolphins Mascot “TD” as well as additional Miami Dolphins and other NFL Alumni.
Sponsorship packages range from $5,000 as a Touchdown Sponsor to $200 as a Hole Sign sponsor. Individual golfers may register for $250, and single tickets to “Evening with the Stars” are available for $50.
Net proceeds will benefit the Regional Cancer Center.
