Family Day crowds treated to sneak peek of ‘Alice In Wonderland’
At Family Day held at BIG Arts on Sunday, The Sanibel School’s Junior Performing Arts and Performing Arts troupes gave a sneak preview of their upcoming production of “Alice In Wonderland,” which will run at The Sanibel School on Thursday and Friday nights, May 27 and 28 as well as June 3 and 4.
This production of “Alice In Wonderland” is directed by Joe Angelo, The Sanibel School’s music teacher. He has been producing musicals for the last seven years with the help of school parents who build sets, make costumes and direct the stage crew during performances.
The Sanibel School is extremely grateful for the incredible parent involvement and community support including the opportunity to perform in Schein Hall on Family Day!
After the sneak preview performance, live music on the patio from The Sanibel School’s Steel Drum Band completed a great day.
The Sanibel School serves approximately 375 students in grades kindergarten through eight. Students live on Captiva and Sanibel Islands as well as the mainland of southwest Florida.
