Great White Grill chomps Royal Shell in softball action

By Staff | Apr 29, 2010

The Great White Grill eviscerated yet another victim last Thursday night. This time, their unlucky victim was the Royal Shell.

Giving up 19 runs in the first three innings, Royal Shell dug themselves into a hole they couldn’t recover from.

“We got fossilized out there,” said Shell captain Jesse Orsino.

The final score was Great White 22, Royal Shell 7.

The victory keeps the Great White one game behind the first place Rec’N’Crew and half a game behind Aztec Plumbing.

“The second one of them slips up the moment we smell blood in the water, we will go in for the kill,” said Great White star Brandon Hall.

In the other games of the week, the Rec’N’Crew swooped down and plucked the feathers off the Lazy Flamingo, 16-8. Bailey’s Baggers etched All Island Glass, 22-6 while Aztec Plumbing poured Draino down on the Sundial, 27-11.
