Decorating Den designer earns professional accreditation in sustainable design

Bridget Vandenburgh, an interior designer with Decorating Den Interiors, earned her professional accreditation with the Sustainable Furnishings Council (SFC).

The council is a non-profit coalition of suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and designers formed to promote sustainable practices in the home furnishings industry.

Vandenburgh completed the council’s course on interior design issues regarding environmental concerns and product solutions. The course is the first of its kind in the interior design industry and was developed in conjunction with the World Wildlife Federation and the World Wildlife Fund.

Vandenburgh is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers and has been a decorator on Sanibel and Captiva Islands since 2005.
