Fort Myers Power Squadron having a busy season

The Fort Myers Power Squadron is keeping busy with overnight boat cruises, cruises to lunch and educational classes. In fact, we just returned from two nights and three days on Captiva Island.

There was Piloting classes every week in February. There will be Advanced Piloting every Monday in March. There will be a boat show March 11 through 14. We have a Shrimp Boil coming up on March 20 at our Squadron Building, open to the public. Call P/C Pete Henderson P for more information at 239-543-1729.

Come by and see whats happening and enjoy one of Pete’s delicious meals. There will be free boating classes starting May 4 and running five consecutive weeks. Classes will start at 6 p.m. and run until 8 p.m. Call Grant Esser for more info and to sign up at 239-945-6612.

In addition, there will be a overnight cruise to Snook Bight Marina from April 12 to 14. You could attend this by boat or by car. Remember, we have a dinner meeting the first Thursday of every month. Everybody is welcome to come and check us out. If you live in paradise, come join in on the fun.
