The Sanibel Historical Museum & Village was founded in 1982 as a tribute to the early pioneers on Sanibel Island. Today, eight buildings – some dating back to 1898 – have been fully restored by volunteers and stand as testament to a group of early pioneers. Visit www.sanibelmuseum.org for more details.
