By Staff | Dec 23, 2009

Two new merchants opened in Bailey’s Center and became members of the Bailey’s Center Merchants’ Association (BCMA) in December.

Massage For Health, owned and managed by Peggy Lynn Parnell who has more than 27 years of service to clients in Sanibel and Captiva, relocated to the Bailey’s Center. Coffee Bar @ Bailey’s, located inside Bailey’s General Store, opened for business this month and offers more than 37 varieties of hot and cold espresso-based coffee drinks.

Founded in 1982, Massage For Health provides advanced therapeutic massage and skin care, including massage therapy, aromatherapy, waxing, facial treatments, reflexology and trigger point therapy. Peggy Lynn Parnell, nationally Certified Licensed Massage Therapist (NCLMT) and Facial Specialist (FS), took over the business nine years ago.

“I’m excited to be part of such an active shopping center and association,” Parnell said. “I’m looking forward to the upcoming season and all of the events organized by the BCMA.”

Coffee Bar @ Bailey’s, managed by Blanaid Colley, is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. In addition to a wide range of hot and cold drinks, the Coffee Bar also has a selection of freshly baked goods to choose from, prepared on the premises each day by the bakers at Bailey’s General Store. The Coffee Bar provides free Wi-Fi internet access to anyone visiting the Bailey’s Center.

“The addition of these two merchants has already brought additional customers into Bailey’s Center, which is great for the existing merchants,” said BCMA President Ken Kasten. “Both Peggy Lynn and Blanaid are very experienced businesswomen and we are delighted to welcome them to the BCMA.”
