Three arrested after search warrant issued at Cape home
Three people were arrested and charged Tuesday night at a southeast Cape Coral home, including one man for 11 felony drug counts.
The Cape Coral Police Depart-ment’s Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 1418 S.E. 21st Lane at 7 p.m., according to a prepared statement from officials. Officers discovered 13.8 grams of cocaine, nine marijuana plants weighing in at 283.9 grams and an indoor marijuana cultivation room.
The report states that officers also found several items used in the production of crack cocaine, including a propane torch, baking soda, sifters and glass cooking containers with residue.
The residence was infested with cockroaches, official said.
Robert Wayne Montgomery, 63, of 1418 S.E. 21st Lane, was charged with nine counts of possession, manufacture, deliver narcotic equipment, seven counts of possession and or use narcotic equipment, one count of producing marijuana, one count of possession of cocaine and one count of possession of marijuana not more than 20 grams.
Kimberly Anissa Latherow, 41, of 934 Robalo Drive, Fort Myers, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession paraphernalia, and Oberson Matayer, 36, of 7420 Bell Hollow Circle, Fort Myers, was arrested on a bench warrant for failure to appear.
According to officials, the house on Southeast 21st Lane has been a source of numerous neighborhood complaints and also was the target of a search warrant in November 2007.
