Public safety personnel continue to evacuate the Wal Mart on Del Prado Boulevard. Officials say the story is expected to remain closed through the afternoon.
Meanwhile, expect traffic delays along Del Prado Boulevard north of the store; traffic currently is slow-moving for blocks.

Report at 1 p.m. Sunday:

The Wal Mart on Del Prado is currently being evacuated.
According to city spokeswoman Connie Barron, someone walked into the store Sunday and threw white powder onto an employee.
The powder burned the employee, and officials are treating the incident as a “Haz-Mat” situation, according to Barron.
“Apparently, someone may have walked into the store and threw white powder onto another person,” Barron said.
